Durham County authorities are investigating the Tuesday afternoon shooting of a teenager who was found at a Chapel Hill intersection before being taken to the hospital. A release from the Durham County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a call around 3:45 p.m. from the intersection of Barbee Chapel Road and Farrington Mill Road about a person who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, deputies found a 16-year-old victim shot in the face and EMS transported them to a nearby hospital.
