The Texas Women's Basketball team faced off against Nc State in a thrilling match that ended with a score of 66-76. The game was highly anticipated, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination on the court. The Texas team fought hard throughout the game, but ultimately fell short against a tough Nc State opponent.
Despite the loss, the Texas Women's Basketball team displayed incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. They never gave up and continued to push themselves until the final buzzer sounded. The players showed great resilience and determination, proving themselves to be true competitors.
Texas finished the season with a 33-5 overall record. The 33 wins are the most since they went 34-0 and won the national championship in the 1985-86 season. Texas had advanced to the Elite Eight for the third time in the last four seasons.

Shay Holle played 40 minutes for the 12th time this season and scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. Aaliyah Moore scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Taylor Jones contributed 11 points. 
Wolfpack coach Wes Moore and Texas coach Vic Schaefer agreed to play with the uneven court.
The Longhorns’ greatest caveat to their game was missing 3-pointers and only going 1-6 from beyond the arc. They were not given many chances to shoot in that zone though, since NC State’s perimeter defense was locked in from the first tip-off. 
“The NCAA was notified (Sunday) that the 3-point lines on the court at Moda Center in Portland are not the same distance. The NCAA staff and women’s basketball committee members on site consulted with the two head coaches who were made aware of the discrepancy. All parties elected to play a complete game on the court as is, rather than correcting the court and delaying the game,” Lynn Holzman, the NCAA’s vice president of women’s basketball, said in a statement.
