The MSFC Disasters team led the NASA Disasters Program’s response for a recent activation for a severe weather tornadic outbreak in the panhandle of Florida, southeast Alabama, and southwest Georgia. The team supported FEMA Remote Sensing and FEMA Region 4 in providing derived optical imagery products from Landsat and Planet Labs to assist in post-storm damage assessments.
