HUBBARD — Roy Ivan Reeves, 96, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at home with his family by his side. He was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Johnston, Ohio, and was the last of nine children to Laura Ellen Bagley and Joseph A. Reeves. After school, Roy joined the United States Maritime Service and was discharged in December of 1945. On Jan. 1, 1950, he married Charlotte Marie Williams. A longtime Kinsman resident, Roy moved close to his daughters in Hubbard this past September. Roy owned and operated Reeves Auto Body in Kinsman and worked before that at the former Harrison Motor Company of Warren.
