DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – Officials with Dorchester School District Two say a woman was arrested after she brought a weapon to a high school basketball game Friday night. The school district notified parents about the incident just after 7:30 p.m. School officials said a woman attending the Ashley Ridge High basketball game triggered a weapon detection device, and she was removed for second-level screening. They said a weapon was found during the search. Deputies with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office were notified and the woman was arrested.
