The campaigns were conducted in a bid to monitor the compliance of retail shops with their obligations under Law No 5 of 2015 on Commercial, Industrial and Similar Public Shops, and Street Vendors, as well as their commitment to Ministerial Decision No 243 of 2016 on the licensing requirements and regulations to engage in street vendor activities, the MoCI said in a statement yesterday. The inspection campaigns resulted in the imposition of 10 penalties
