Real Madrid and Barcelona is always highly anticipated, and the recent match did not disappoint. Real Madrid emerged victorious with a resounding 4-1 win over their arch-rivals, leaving fans in awe of their exceptional performance.

From the outset, it was evident that Real Madrid meant business. Their relentless attacking style put Barcelona on the back foot, as they struggled to contain the formidable trio of Benzema, Hazard, and Vinicius Junior. The first goal came early in the game when Benzema expertly converted a penalty kick. This set the tone for what was to come.

Real dominated every aspect of the game and toyed with last year's champions who could not handle Vinicius and ended the contest with 10 men after defender Ronald Araujo was sent off for a second booking in the 71st minute after two fouls on the Brazilian.

Iñaki Peña before a straightforward, cool finish from an angle.

Rodrygo also scored for Madrid, which now has 13 Super Cup trophies, one less than the Catalan club. It was Madrid’s second Super Cup triumph since the tournament was moved to Saudi Arabia four years ago. Robert Lewandowski scored Barcelona’s goal to make it 2-1 in the first half.

Jules Koundé and rebounding for Rodrygo to finish, and he was the recipient of Ronald Araujo's red card challenge with 20 minutes left, too. In each of the game's major incidents, Vinicius was involved.

His numbers so far this campaign have been unremarkable, at least for him -- four goals in 11 LaLiga appearances, and two goals in three Champions League starts -- though this wasn't his first great performance this season. Vinicius was impressive in Madrid's 3-0 Champions League group stage win over Braga on Nov. 8, and outstanding in scoring twice in their 5-1 victory over Valencia three days later. But this was a final, and a Clásico, in a high profile tournament that marks the season's halfway point, when the serious business begins.

Real Madrid's triumph over Barcelona was a testament to their skill, teamwork, and unwavering spirit. It will undoubtedly go down in history as one of those memorable matches that fans will talk about for years to come.
