Bhubaneswar: A Junior Engineer of TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance for taking bribe. Ranjan Kumar Das, J. E., TPWODL, Bargaon Electrical Section in Sundargarh has been arrested by the anti-corruption officials while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.30,000 from a complainant for facilitating his appointment as an Electrical Helper on outsourcing basis. Das also threatened him to appoint another person in his place, if demanded bribe is not given. The entire bribe amount Rs.30,000 has been recovered from accused Das and seized. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of the JE from DA angle. In this connection
