The decision was approved by the Supreme Council of Universities in its meeting Saturday under Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour, the ministry said in a statement. The first semester will last for 14 weeks, ending on Thursday, January 4, 2024, while the end-of-semester exams will begin on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and ends on Thursday, January 25, 2024, it added.
