A Dunbridge man faces an aggravated vehicult homicide charge after he allegedly fatally struck a bicyclist on Saturday afternoon on South Main and Pearl streets. According to the Bowling Green Police Division, at approximately 2:11 p.m., officers responded to a crash. It was determined that a vehicle driven by James Patrick Lindsay, 54, Dunbridge, left the roadway and struck a pedestrian on a bicycle who was on the sidewalk. The pedestrian was identified as Michael Szabo, 60, Bowling Green. Mr. Szabo was pronounced dead at the scene. Lindsay was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and was transported to the Wood County jail. This incident remains under investigation.
