Authorities believe that a woman found dead on a bridge in Willits Sunday killed herself, the California Highway Patrol reported. According to the CHP, officers posted in Laytonville responded to the Upp Creek Bridge on North Main Street north of Willits around 2:30 p.m. April 9 when a 911 caller reported that a possible suicide had occurred there.
