A large majority of Moroccans do not trust their government or the opposition, and consider political parties in the country are not playing their role as they should, an opinion poll from 2022 has shown. The poll, carried out by the NGO Moroccan Centre for Citizenship (CMC) between 20 October and 12 November, showed that 82 percent of respondents do not trust the current government, led by Aziz Akhannouch since 2021 and made up of 24 ministers.
