To the Editor: I am voting for Susan Sher for the Ukiah City Council. Susan may be a first-time candidate for public office, but she has been accruing the skill set to be an active and effective council member for many years.  Her years of employment as an attorney, and as a mediator, have taught her to be a thoughtful and analytical problem solver. She’s served on the Board of Directors of several non-profits and public agencies. Susan has been a strong advocate for her Wagenseller Neighborhood Association, of which she is a founding member, for positive improvements within that neighborhood for years.
