Egypt agrees to help restart Libyan factories on hold

Egypt and Libya agreed on Friday that Egypt will facilitate the re-opening of currently suspended Libyan factories. The agreement came during a meeting between officials of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) in Egypt and Libyan Ministers, on the sidelines of a visit to Cairo by Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba. Under the agreement, an Egyptian-Libyan committee will form to lend Egypt’s skill, expertise, and technology in manufacturing to Libya. Additionally, experts from AOI will be sent to the factories to handle the reopening. AOI Chairman Abdel Moneim al-Tarras discussed with the Libyan Minister of Industry and Minerals Ahmed
