Haliburton, one of the world’s largest oil field service companies, has said that its first plant in the Middle East region, at King Salman Energy City (SPARK) in Jubail, is nearing completion, with production likely to begin in the first quarter of 2022. According to sources cited by Arab News, the first reactor plant for the manufacture of chemicals is being built in Saudi Arabia at an investment of more than $100 million.
