The contract for district cooling services for Marsa Al Arab has been won by the Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower). As per the terms of the contract, Empower will provide 3,700 refrigeration tons (RT) of cooling to the Dubai development, which is billed as one of the city’s largest marine tourism and leisure destinations. According to a statement, Marsa Al Arab is a $1.63bn project comprising two artificial islands on both sides of the Burj Al Arab hotel, spread across a total area of four million sqft.
