Republican Yemen Swedish diplomat Hans Grundberg was officially appointed on Friday the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Yemen. Mr. Grundberg will be the UN’s fourth envoy to Yemen, after being approved by the 15-member council this week to succeed outgoing UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths who became the U.N. aid chief last month.
