Patna: A middle-aged woman was allegedly gangraped by some six persons in Bihar in a latest incident of sexual violence, highlighting the growing lawlessness in the state. The state has already reported 469 incidents of rape in the first four months of the current year, according to a report of Bihar police. Police said the woman, accompanied by her husband, was going on foot when the youth seized her near a canal, which falls under Amnaur police station, in Saran district, took her to a dense bush and raped her by taking turns.
