Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Monday that 38 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 9 coronavirus patients recovered and 3 others passed away. In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria till now has reached up to 25, 442 of which 21,808 have recovered while 1,870 have passed away. The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria in March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
