An all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) stolen from the Willits Waste Water Treatment Plant in April was recently recovered, the Willits Police Department reported. According to the WPD, officers responded to the Willits Waste Water Treatment Plant around 4 a.m. April 22 when it was reported that an ATV owned by the city of Wilits had been stolen earlier that morning. After reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing community members, a suspect in the theft was identified as Brandon Langenderfer, 29, of Willits, who reportedly had been taken into custody in Sonoma County on an unrelated charge, and was being held on an arrest warrant related to the ATV theft.
