Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity drops to the lowest in three months
Islamabad: Pakistan reported on Friday less than 2,000 cases and 83 deaths in the past 24 hours. According to the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC), after 52,859 tests in one day, the country’s single-day cases of COVID-19 were 1,893 showing a 3.58 per cent positivity rate. This is the lowest positivity rate in a period of three months. On February 28, 2021 Pakistan had reported 3.02 per cent positivity rate. The NCOC data also reveals that active cases of COVID-19 are on the decline. Pakistan’s total number of cases after these latest additions climbed to 928,588 while the death toll stood at 21,105.
