A couple of weeks later, I found myself in Nuweiba, where I visited a peculiar Wilderness Therapy Centre under construction. Back then, it was a vast empty land, with olive trees struggling to survive the dry desert environment and a single hut next to a sole acacia tree. Photo by Veronica Merlo.
