A dance workshop was conducted recently by the music and dance department of Birla Public School (BPS) based on the topic ‘Bharatanatyam’. The workshop commenced with a welcome speech by Marshal D’Silva, head of the music and dance department. Principal A P Sharma expressed his views on the importance of dance in day to day life. He also congratulated the department for conducting the workshop. Vice principal (co-scholastic) Rajesh Pillai explained that different special activities taking place in the school and encouraged the students to participate, learn and enjoy the sessions.
