MES Indian School recently observed Mother’s Day and Nurses Day with students paying tribute to mothers and the selfless service of nurses. The department of English in collaboration with the Public Speaking Team organised a special programme through Zoom platform. Young speakers exhibited their oratorical skills by giving speeches on the roles played by mothers and the nurses in the lives of everyone and how mums were instrumental in shaping and influencing children's lives. The students, in their performances, epitomised mother as teacher, friend, philosopher and guide.
