Mr. Jerry KingMr. Joshua Lawson Deputy Ray Biggs performed a traffic stop on a black Toyota Corolla on April 15, 2021 for having a non-functioning tag light and a loud exhaust. Upon making contact with the driver, Mr. Jerry King and the passenger, Mr. Joshua Lawson, Deputy Biggs asked Mr. King to exit the vehicle. It was determined that Mr. King’s driver’s license was suspended out of Clay County for evading a police road block. Upon an investigation of the vehicle, 1.7 grams of methamphetamine was found as well as a used hypodermic needle.
