Covid-19: Mendocino County focusing on second doses as vaccine supply dwindles

In an update to the Ukiah City County Wednesday, Emergency Management Coordinator Tami Bartolomei noted that Mendocino County health officials reported no new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus had been identified on Tuesday. “I’m really happy to say that on March 16, the county reported zero new cases of Covid – that is such a day to celebrate,” Bartolomei told the City Council during its March 17 meeting. “And I truly hope that we have more of those days.” However, Bartolomei noted that there was also another death attributed to the virus this week, bringing the total number of deaths to 46. As of March 17, the county was reporting a total of 3,895 cases, and an average of new positive case
