A Hopland man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly ramming his minivan into his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle while she attempted to drive to the Ukiah Police Department for help. According to the UPD, a 33-year-old Hopland woman was in the Taco Bell drive-thru on North State Street around 11 p.m. March 9 when her ex-boyfriend, identified as Jaime H. Gutierrez, 33, of Hopland, reportedly came up and hit the windshield of her sedan with his fist, breaking the glass. The victim, who had a 28-year-old male passenger with her, then drove away, but reported that Gutierrez followed her in his minivan, ramming her vehicle several times while she attempted to drive to UPD headquarters on Seminary Avenue.
