Damascus, SANA- Portuguese Trade Union condemned illegitimate unilateral coercive measures imposed by the US  and the European Union against the Syrian people, calling on the Portuguese government to move for removing them. “We urge the Portuguese government, in the context of its presidency of the Council of the European Union, to propose and push for an immediate end to the European Union sanctions against Syria and to replace them with measures to compensate for the damage that affected Syria and its people,” Portugese Trade Union said in a letter of solidarity sent to the General Federation of Trade Unions in Syria.
