Chococo, the award-winning chocolate brand founded in Dorset, England, in 2002, has added two limited-edition fall flavors to the menu at its Manhattan chocolate houses: Pumpkin Butternut Spice Hot Chocolate and Maple Flavoured Hot Chocolate.
What sets them apart is what goes into the cup. Instead of a mix, Chococo makes each drink fresh with pure, single-origin chocolate flakes sourced directly from Ecuador and Colombia, according to a press release. Guests can choose dark, milk or caramelized white “blonde” chocolate, melted into dairy or plant-based milk and finished with a dash of nutmeg. Prefer it cold? Both locations serve iced chocolate too.
The brand has the credentials to back up its craft. Chococo has earned more than 130 fine food awards, including Great Taste Awards for its 47% Colombian milk chocolate and single-estate 72% Ecuadorian dark chocolate. It has also used plastic-free packaging since it opened, designed to be recyclable, compostable or reusable.

The fall flavors won’t be around forever, either. Starting Nov. 30, Chococo is rolling out its winter menu, led by a Peppermint Hot Chocolate topped with chocolate flakes, peppermint garnishes and peppermint whipped cream. The lineup also includes a Peppermint Flat White and a London Fog Hot Tea with lavender and candied orange, a fitting nod to the brand’s British roots.
Chococo’s hot chocolates are available at its Midtown location at 500 Madison Ave. and its Upper East Side shop at 1293 Third Ave.
