Ella Langley‘s busy streak isn’t over yet. The “Choosin’ Texas” hitmaker is the most-nominated artist going into the 2026 CMA Awards with nine nods, and she’s performing.
The first cluster of performers—eight of them—was announced Thursday, Nov. 5. In addition to Langley, there’s new Hall of Fame member Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Zach Top, Miranda Lambert, Red Clay Strays, Tucker Wetmore, and Cody Johnson.
Langley is up for the biggest awards of the night, Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, and she’s even battling herself for Single and Song of the Year. Both “Choosin’ Texas” and her hit “Be Her” are up to win in those categories. The Alabama-born country star has had an unprecedented year—”Choosin’ Texas” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a record-setting 25 weeks in 2026, toppling a record previously held by Mariah Carey‘s seasonally viral “All I Want for Christmas.”
Lambert is not far behind Langley in tallying her 2026 CMA nods—she’s up for seven—while Musgraves is hoping to win at least one of the five she’s nominated for.
More performers will be announced before the red carpet rolls out, as will presenters.

Country fans should anticipate a sparkling tribute performance to Dolly Parton, who died on Aug. 25 after a quiet cancer battle. This is the first country music awards show since her passing, and it’s the biggest one in the genre, so a larger-than-life honoring of the late icon is practically guaranteed.
This year marks the 60th annual CMA Awards; they’re being held at Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville.
