Usually, Diane Farr guest stars, allowing for more personal moments between Sharon and Mickey. Others have had small appearances, and now it’s Calloway’s turn. He will get a moment to connect with Cassidy, but it’s not clear what type of case they’re on.
The main focus is on the manhunt in Edgewater. At the end of Sheriff Country Season 2 Episode 3, Mickey, Eva, and others stormed the house where Wes and the girls who had previously been taken were being kept. The girls got out, and Wes decided to go after them to protect them without telling Mickey and Eva.
Now it’s up to everyone to not just find the girls, but to also find the remaining members of the Bulgarian cartel that has put the lives of Edgewater people at risk.
However, with the title “Maria”, there is hope that the episode will delve into more of Eva’s backstory. We know why she faked her death, and up to this point, she has been willing to be the villain in Mickey’s story. However, she wants a relationship with her daughter now, and this hour may offer the redemption needed to allow for that to happen.
