India National Cricket Team fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been reportedly ruled out of the upcoming five-match ODI series against the New Zealand National Cricket Team due to a left hamstring injury. He suffered the injury during the second ODI against the West Indies in Guwahati.
Prasidh Krishna set to miss New Zealand ODIs
Prasidh suffered a hamstring strain, not a tear, and has been undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. He was initially expected to remain out of action for three weeks and completed match simulations on October 22 and 24.
However, it has now been reported that Krishna will miss the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, starting on November 4 in Auckland. However, the BCCI is yet to make this official. Amid this, Abhishek Sharma dethrones Ishan Kishan to regain No. 1 position in ICC T20I rankings.
