ROCHESTER, N.Y. – More fine fall weather on the way for Thursday. After a frosty cold start to the day some sunshine will help to warm the air into the 50s and low 60s during the afternoon. A few clouds will drift in later in the day and linger into the evening hours. Fair weather for high school football games tonight with a seasonable chill in the air. More good weather ahead for Friday. Threat Tracker is green into the weekend.
Looking ahead to the weekend we have more great weather news for all fall plans, including Halloween parties, corn mazes, haunted hayrides and pumpkin and apple picking. Also, if you want to check out the leaves we are near peak in the Finger Lakes and Western New York for the next week. Dry weather will continue through the weekend into much of next week as well. We may not see any showers until a cold front approaches late next week. Hopefully that front zips along and clears for some nice weather the following weekend in time for trick-o-treaters on Halloween a week from this Saturday. Stay tuned to News10 for latest updates.
