MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. — An ICE spokesperson said a Chinese national was detained by ICE in Mount Morris on Tuesday.
The spokesperson said Sin Di Ling was in the U.S. illegally for over 25 years after a judge ordered him to leave back in 1999.
The statement below also mentions a financial offering to illegal migrants, including a free flight to assist in self-deporting:
Statement
“ICE officers from Upstate New York arrested Chinese national Sin Di Ling, Oct. 20, in Mt. Morris, NY. Ling entered the United States of America at an unknown place, on an unknown date. An immigration judge ordered Ling removed in 1999. He has enjoyed the benefits of living and working (illegally) in the U.S. for more than 25 years. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.
“Being in detention is a choice. We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.”
