Dancing With the Stars fans were thrilled to see Kym Johnson-Herjavec in the ballroom again, this time as a guest judge for Dedication Night. The popular pro dancer took her place alongside veteran judges Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough to critique Season 35 contestants on their most emotional dances to date.
As she did last season, Johnson-Herjavec, 50, delivered thoughtful commentary on the dances, prompting fans to say she should be brought back as a full-time judge.
Behind the scenes, Johnson had extra support.
In a video posted to Instagram, Johnson-Herjavec’s husband Robert Herjavec shared footage of their 8-year-old twins, Hudson and Haven, sneaking up behind their mom during a break. In the clip, the twins enter the judges’ area and hug their mom while also speaking to Tonioli.

In another video, as Johnson-Herjavec was announced as a guest judge her kids could be heard calling “Mommy! Mommy!” The Australian dancer turned and waved at all of the fans in the audience, including a special wave to her kids sitting across the way. The camera then panned to her son Hudson who smiled widely from his seat.

“She’s done it all,” he wrote. “Danced, hosted, judged and won it 3 times! So proud of her.”
The couple met in 2015 when they were paired together when Herjavec was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. After marrying in 2016, they welcomed Hudson and Haven in April 2018.
As they’ve gotten older, the Herjavec kids are starting to realize just how famous their parents are.
“They understand what Kym does because they love YouTube, like all kids,” Herjavec told People magazine in August. “And they’re starting to figure out what I do because of Shark Tank and it’s on all the time. But the cutest thing is last year in their class, they were supposed to tell the class what their parents do. And Hudson gets them in front of the class and says, ‘I want to play a video.’ And he played our first dance from Dancing with the Stars.”
“So they understand that Mom was a beautiful professional dancer,” he added.
