JUNIUS, N.Y. — A man is in stable condition after being hit while riding an e-bike by an SUV in Seneca County on Friday.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. on Burgess Road in the Town of Junius.
The driver of the SUV was going north on Burgess Road when she hit the man on an e-bike while he was riding in the same direction, deputies say.
The 18-year-old e-biker was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by helicopter, deputies added.
The SUV driver was given traffic tickets for following too closely to the rider.
