Toni Braxton is feeling herself, and rightfully so.
The “Un-Break My Heart” singer celebrated her 59th birthday with a stunning photo shoot, showing off all her curves in a black, sheer bodysuit and heels.
“Every fold. Every wrinkle. If it’s up to me … I’m still feeling SEXY,” she captioned the revealing photos. “Damn near 60 today! Happy Birthday to ME! Libra SZN!”
As expected, fans were proud of Braxton for embracing her age and natural beauty.
“Are the folds and wrinkles in the room with us!? Gorgeous,” one follower commented before another added, “Got us over here GAGGING!”
A third chimed in, “TONI MICHELE – ageless, timeless, flawless.”
View this post on InstagramThis is not the first time that Braxton has shown some skin on social media, but she hopes she inspires other women to embrace their age.
“I wanted people to know that 50s is still sexy, and it’s OK, and don’t be afraid to age,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2024 after sharing a topless photo. “I felt a little some kind of way when I turned 50, but I’m OK. I’m alright about it.”
However, Braxton’s birthday comes in a sad time for the R&B family. Less than one week ago, her sister Trina Braxton’s husband, Von Scales, unexpectedly died at the age of 58. Before posting her photo shoot, Braxton paid tribute to her late brother-in-law.
“Rest in peace my brother-in-law, Von, my sister’s true soulmate. We will continue to love and remember you,” she captioned a video of Von dancing with his wife. Von had appeared on Braxton Family Values, which follows the Braxton sisters and their significant others.
Braxton has been in a relationship with rapper Birdman since 2016, and the couple tied the knot in 2024. He also gushed about his longtime partner in a sweet Instagram post, writing, “Happy BDAY 2my lil woodie.”
