ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Sea Breeze Fire District Board has endorsed a plan to dissolve the district and transfer its services to the Point Pleasant Fire District.
The board approved the proposed dissolution plan at a meeting on Sept. 22. A public hearing on the plan is scheduled for Oct. 29 at the Sea Breeze Fire Station.
If the plan is approved, the dissolution would take effect Oct. 31, with the Point Pleasant Fire District taking over fire and EMS responsibilities.
