**Warning: Contains spoilers for The Celebrity Traitors season 2.**
The Celebrity Traitors returned in treacherous fashion this week, as 21 celebrities headed to the Scottish Highlands to play the ultimate game of betrayal and deception.
In the opening episode, Claudia Winkleman chose her Traitors and they had quite the tricky decision to make. In a twist, Winkleman only chose two celebrities as her Traitors, meaning they had to recruit a third, but there was a lot more to it than that.
Maya Jama and Richard E Grant were told they had to pick between two of the Faithful, both of whom would plead face-to-face to join the Traitors. But whoever wasn't chosen would simply know too much and would have to be murdered.
It was between Amol Rajan and James Acaster, with each making a good case to be a Traitor. But who did the Traitors choose? Read on below to find out.
Amol Rajan - 'MURDERED' in episode 2
Amol Rajan became the first celebrity to be 'murdered' on The Celebrity Traitors season 2, as Traitors Richard E Grant and Maya Jama claimed their first victim.
"I think it's much bigger than I expected. It's just an absolutely unforgettable ride of a lifetime," Rajan said of his time on the show.
"And honestly, there's kind of an unhappy contrast right now, because I'm sort of grieving what might have been. In time I know that I'll come to look on this as honestly one of the greatest privileges of my life. In fact, I already do. What an amazing thing to do, and it was bigger, it was bolder, it was braver, it was brighter than it looks on TV. And to have been sort of in it when it's a show and a game I love so much is just a blessing, really."
The Celebrity Traitors continues on Thursday 8 October at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
