During the 3rd ODI match between India and West Indies at the PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh, Mohammed Siraj, who came back into the side, delivered a jaffer to dismiss Windies opener John Campbell and brought out his trademark celebration after dismissing one of the most in-form batters of the series. He has found the rhythm from the very start.
The Men in Blue side has already won the series, after winning the first two games by 8 wickets. This is more of a dead rubber match as they made three changes in the side, with Siraj being one of the three. He once again showed why he has been one of India’s best new-ball bowlers in the ODIs.
Mohammed Siraj bowls a jaffer
In the 4.1 over, Mohammed Siraj bowled a full ball and the ball came back in from the good length area. Campbell looked to swing it across the line and missed it and was beaten on the inside edge, as the ball brushed his pad before uprooting the off-stump, and Siraj, after picking up the wicket, brought his signature celebration.
