“Carolyn, come on. Turn off the lights and let’s go home,” husband Jerry was heard to say many times over the years. No matter where they went, Carolyn enjoyed visiting and speaking to each person in attendance, which usually meant she walked out with the last person turning off the lights. As Carolyn turned out the lights for the final time, she was heard to say, “I think everybody had a good time. I hope they get home ok.” Carolyn Neil Dickens Williams passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born in Maggart, Tennessee, on November 13, 1937.
