TAIF — Six people, including five female teachers and their driver, were killed in a collision on the Taif-Riyadh highway on Thursday morning, prompting Saudi Arabia’s National Transport Safety Center to launch an investigation.The teachers were traveling to Hailan Elementary and Intermediate School, northwest of Al-Muwayh governorate, when their vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle.One of the teachers was pregnant, according to a relative. The driver died at the scene, bringing the death toll to six.The teachers had been traveling to their workplace on a daily journey covering more than 400 kilometers round trip when the crash occurred.
