The NFL has announced that New Orleans brass group The Soul Rebels will perform the U.S. national anthem before the historic 2026 NFL Paris Game on Oct. 25, at Stade de France.
The announcement was shared by the NFL on Instagram as part of the pregame entertainment lineup for the first regular-season NFL game to be played in France.
Nina Tonji has also been announced to perform the French national anthem during the event.
The Paris Game will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers against the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CEST, or 9:30 a.m. ET, on Oct. 25.
The choice of The Soul Rebels brings a New Orleans sound to a game involving the New Orleans Saints. The eight-piece group is known for its brass-heavy music, mixing elements of jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, rock and pop.

The Soul Rebels were formed in New Orleans and built their sound around the city’s long brass-band tradition. The group includes percussionists, trumpet players, trombonists, a saxophonist and a sousaphonist.

The national anthem performances will be part of a larger entertainment program surrounding the historic NFL Paris Game.
Along with The Soul Rebels performing the U.S. national anthem and Nina Tonji performing the French national anthem, Burna Boy is scheduled to headline the halftime show.
The NFL previously announced that the Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist would perform during halftime at Stade de France. The performance is part of the league’s 2026 international schedule, which includes seven halftime shows across seven countries and four continents.
Burna Boy also has a previous connection to Stade de France. The NFL said he became the first African artist to headline the stadium in April 2025.
The 2026 NFL Paris Game is also a major step in the league’s international schedule. Paris is one of the new NFL international markets for 2026, alongside Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro. The NFL has previously staged regular-season games in cities including London, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dublin, São Paulo, Mexico City and Toronto.
For viewers in France, the game will be broadcast as part of the country’s coverage of the NFL Paris Game. According to Sortiraparis, France Télévisions is scheduled to carry the event, while beIN Sports will also provide coverage. The NFL has also announced that L’Équipe will broadcast the game later that evening.
With The Soul Rebels representing the United States through the national anthem, Nina Tonji representing France through the French anthem and Burna Boy taking the halftime stage, the Oct. 25 event will combine football and live music before and during the NFL’s first regular-season game in France.
The Steelers and Saints will then take the field for the historic Week 7 matchup at Stade de France.
