Michael Watts (January 1947 – September 2026)
Michael Watts, aged 79, left us on September 26th in North Richland Hills TX, released from the pains and burdens of this life.
Michael was born in Detroit, but was raised in Chestnut Mound Tennessee. From that small farming community at aged 17 he joined the United States Air Force and began an adventure that would take him all over the world and introduce him to his Beloved Wife Glynis.
He was a man whose life was shaped by sacrifice, serving his country with honor during the Vietnam era and beyond. Though the long years of service left him with serious health challenges, his spirit remained steadfast, and his love for family never wavered. Friends and loved ones remember him not only for his dedication to duty, but for the kindness, resilience, and quiet strength he showed in every season of life. He leaves behind a legacy of service, compassion, and the enduring memory of a man who gave much of himself to others
Michael is survived by his wife Glynis, Sons Shawn & Patrick, Daughter-in-laws Deborah & Allison, grandchildren Benton, Katie, Lindsay, Emily, Mary, Lauren & Michael. He is together again with his Beloved Son Christopher who predeceases him by a few short months.
