Yes, technically Florida’s next game is this Saturday afternoon when those surging Gators head to Columbia to face No. 25 Mizzou. It’ll be an SEC showdown on the national TV stage, with a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC. UF will be trying to go 3-0 in the SEC, while the Tigers (3-1, 0-1 SEC) will be trying to bounce back from last week’s loss at Mississippi State.

“The coaches’ time to shine is Sunday through Friday. You know, Saturday is the players’ day to go play. (Tuesday) is my game day, not theirs,” said Jon Sumrall during his appearance on the podcast on Monday. “And I told our team after our run through this morning, like, hey, tomorrow’s ‘bloody Tuesday,’ like, I’m gonna know if we’re ready to play this week by how we practice (on Tuesday).
“We’re gonna be outside (on Tuesday). I hope it’s hot. Tuesdays have to be physical and violent. And you gotta strain, or you don’t know how to play that way on Saturday.”
