Van Smith, president and CEO of the Recovery Houses of Rochester, marked 35 years in recovery and announced a new partnership. Smith explains the supportive relationships he has with people, including faith. He also talks about the value of drug and alcohol recovery housing for all communities, including an upcoming event at the Hyatt Regency.
News10NBC also featured an archived interview about Fatherhood Connection, a program designed to help restore families by supporting fathers as they heal from childhood and relationship trauma. Pastor Reggie Cox, the founder, and his son and program director, Ishmael Cox, discussed the impact of the program. The program spans nine counties in the Rochester region.
