After nearly a year of poisoning her husband, Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) was finally caught on CBS daytime’s newest soap opera, Beyond the Gates. Now Goings has finally opened up about whether this is the end of the line for the schemer.
Following the broadcast of the twist, Goings was interviewed by TV Insider’s Stephanie Sloane, during which the two discussed Haley’s time in Fairmount Crest and her biggest mark yet.

While Goings didn’t reveal anything specific about how the storyline will play out, she did tease that this isn’t the end for Haley’s story. “There are so many things that people are asking. I don’t want to give away too much, but I would hang tight. I love the twists and turns that the writers have written. There’s more to come,” she told the outlet.
Eagle-eyed fans paying attention to who has returned to the studio for production on Season 3 have noticed that Goings appears to be around still; thus, it appears that there are plenty of twists left in Haley’s storyline if she is going to get away with attempted murder.

It was quickly revealed that Hayley and Bill’s relationship stemmed from an affair while Bill was married to Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley).
As the story progressed, it was revealed that Hayley had specifically targeted Bill to obtain his fortune. She worked with her cousin Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) to infiltrate the family by being named the sole beneficiary of a $10 million life insurance policy and obtaining a deed to a house in St. Barts.
Hayley began slowly poisoning Bill with Randy’s help, causing Bill to have continuous health problems, including passing out. While doctors were unable to explain what was going on, Bill’s ex-wife, Dani, eventually figured out something was up with Hayley and quickly started putting the pieces together. Hayley confronted Dani, but was ultimately arrested when a vial of ethylene glycol was found on her. Bill’s blood was tested, and it was found to also be in his system.
Hayley was released on bail and the week ended with her confronting Bill. What happens next? Viewers will have to stay tuned to see how it plays out.
