She countered by offering her song “Torn” and allowing Bono to make it his own. The 66-year-old rocker reworked it with Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid.
“She sang her heart out and I cannot believe that’s an 80-year-old woman,” he said.
Carnaval De Luz will be U2’s 16th studio album and the first time they’ve released new songs in nine years.
