Abhiram Singh Yadav becomes third member to fill CEC spot
Yadav will fill one of three CEC spots reserved for Associate Members. In July, Gurumurthi Palani was named to the ICC Board, leaving this seat empty. Yadav will be on the CEC until the next election. These elections will be held at the ICC's Annual Conference in June 2027.
Under him, Indonesia's cricket journey has seen rapid growth in recent years. Cricket is now played at both men's and women's levels in 21 of the country's 38 provinces. They also played in the Women’s Asia Cup but failed to win a single game.
Yadav became the third Associate representative on the ICC board. The other two members of the board, in addition to the 12 Full Members, are Gurdeep Klair of Canada and Anuraag Bhatnagar of Hong Kong, China. The CEC is led by ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta.
