MACEDON, N.Y. — The Arc Wayne has finished a major upgrade to its clinic.
The organization received $500,000 from a state health department grant. It was used to renovate its buildings in Macedon and expand clinic space, focusing on improving access for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Staff at the facility say the changes will make a real difference for the people they serve.
“There’s definitely times previously that like, I know I was wishing I had a little bit more either, technology mostly, because we’re so hands-on with a lot of people here, and sometimes you need more than one set of hands, and it’s really nice that some of this technology is available to us, because it makes a lot more possibilities to help our clientele,” said Autumn Rynkowski, a physical therapist assistant at Arc Wayne.
